Going to Maui on Feb 1-10 for the first time ever. We're staying at Kannapali (sp?) which is supposedly about an hour from the better windsurfing spots.
Does anyone have any recommendations as to the best rentals, launches, or anything else that I need to know? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!

Maui Recommendations - Please Help!

I was there last winter and rented from Hi Tech. They had a good selection of equipment and were very friendly. The guys at Neil Pryde Maui were also very helpful. NPM is a Vela rental center. I don't know about the other shops.
As far as where to sail... ask at the shops they know what the conditions are and where the best location would be.
I hope that you get better wind than i did last year (only 2 sailable days in a week)
