JUST LEFT SPI. Got there Sun. & rode 4 of 5 days & was on my 15m the whole time. We had 20 LAKAWANS to dine at Louies, one night. Mike & Crew did a great job of setting up & organizing the trip. We even had a Photog, Jenn, dutifully snapping shots of our antics; & a Masuesse, Kerri, who progressed at an amazing pace with her riding. Had a great time riding, chilling, hamming it up for the lense. Sadly, Debbie suffered a mishap and broke her leg at the bonfire, but will be flying home on Monday for treatment. Only wished it had not rained each day which muddied up the flats. Thanks to Sam for the lodgings, and everyone else for sharing the good times! BTW: I DID witness JimPat hitting those backrolls. WOW, he wasn't kidding. There was no lack of cameras this trip, so I'm hoping they post a HUGE album soon.

I came home like an old dog looking for rest,This was the best trip to Padre yet,no skunk days,a lot of different wind ranges out of the East til the last day when predictions went 5 mph and proved much better out of the NW ,a lot of different combis of kites and boards. The Key 13 was awesome as was the standby 14 T2 and the rev 13. I was letting my quiver out but scored over 21 hours of powered up riding. For this S.Padre Update my picks and pans are...

PERRY, It was nice running into you again this trip! I guess I'll have to change my opinion of IOWEGIANS, thanks to you. Glad we had such great reps of the 60+ demographic along. It was nice not to be the Oldest Old Man for a change, thanks to Dorian & Aga for that. I hope we look half as good when we get "up there."
