I noticed that there is a new, direct link to Lake City on the wind page. Comparing the 2 day Lake City history to the Red Wing one pretty much shows that the "current readings" are read out of Red Wing and NOT Lake City. I've been sailing on Pepin many times when the current reading in Red Wing would have kept me at home. Perhaps I am wrong?
I agree with you on that one, Pete. Last year I sailed the point on my 4.5 in a super steady Northwest wind and the Red Wing airport was reading 11 knots gusting to 17.
