Friday superior?

Looks good.
Got back late Monday from a two week trip, with reports of people sailing the past 12 of 15 days...definitely reminiscent of 1988. Tuesday was an epic welcome home, yesterday a pleasant surprise, and Friday with Mother sounds perfect. My older son, Ryan will join us, and this is all dependent on whether or not my younger son's child decides to enter this world tomorrow. Sooo, if the forecast comes true and a baby's not born through the night, we'll be up there early.

Welcome back Randy! You have been been missed. I have had several good days on the Mother. Will join y'all in the afternoon if still coming as predicted. If instead your destiny is grandparenthood, I wish your newest addition to have forearms of steel, and a split umbilical cord that can be used for built-in harness lines

Randy - When are you guys taking off? I might be game as well...if you have the chance, definitely give me a call at 952.285.2913 (whenever) or if you would be so kind as to leave a number here, I'll give you and Ryan a call in the morning to see how things are shaping up.
Nice to share Bellaire with you the other day. Congrats on the baby!

Update
Well, no baby overnight. The forecast looks backed off a bit, so we're waiting til we see a building trend, probably shooting to arrive around noon if it looks like we'll get in the 15-20 readings. Definitely an iffy call for now. We'll make a post when and if we leave. My cell is 612-590-0970. Thanks for the good wishes. Chris, I want to hear all about what I've missed.

I think I am going to pull the plug on the Duluth trip for today. Exptl. shows good late morning wind at Ramsey. A few years ago I adopted the policy that I would drive to Duluth for wind only if there was no wind locally. I think sticking to that policy is wise today.
Randy, we will keep your family in our prayers.

Heading out.
Yes, it's iffy, but it's been too long since we've tasted terrain. Some of my best days have been on my 7.4M, in 15-18mph, with the waves slowed down enough to ride like ocean waves. Fingers crossed. We should be there by noon.
